HR Management (MA)

The MA program in Human Resources Management (HRM) highlights the impact human resources have or can play on organizational and employee lifecycles. This academic knowhow will help students develop the skills needed to successfully lead in today’s fast-paced organizations.

The MA in HRM is a part of Webster’s School of Business and Technology. The program features evening courses taught in English by HRM professionals with extensive experience. This on-campus learning can be supplemented by online courses that provide additional program flexibility. The multinational student body and faculty bring a cross-cultural perspective, and students have full access to an internship program run through Career Services.

Theory and Practice

91 percentHRM courses combine theory and practice, and encourage students to apply the latest concepts and tools to real-life business situations to address current challenges in the field of human resources. Teaching methods mix an analytical approach with case methodology, lectures and discussions, oral presentations, written reports and individual research. Students will learn to think critically, adapt to changing circumstances, know themselves better and work effectively in teams while increasing their ability to make a significant impact in professional settings.

Flexible Scheduling

The MA in HRM can be taken on a full-time or a part-time basis. Full-time students take two courses a term for six terms (total of 14 months). Part-time students take one course a term for twelve terms (total of 28 months). The program is personalized and flexible to accommodate work and study.
