Webster Ghana offers a unique college prep experience every June for recent high school graduates — a great way to make the best use of the final long vacation before entering the University. Our carefully designed program is an exciting way for students to prepare for college, earn transferable credits and build the foundational academic and life skills needed for a successful transition. Students can make new friends and join them on campus for a fun "beyond the classroom" weekend stay as part of this four-week adventure.

Ever wondered what life as a college student is like? This is your chance to get a unique feel of our college experience! Meet current Webster Ghana students, hear their stories, ask their most pressing college questions. Tour the lovely campus and try out a popular student activity online or in-person, like team building games and workouts. Choose the overnight option for the ultimate campus experience, including a BBQ!
Getting Started
- Students must have completed their junior or senior year of high school.
- Students must receive authorization from their high school guidance counselor.
- Students must also receive authorization from their parent or legal guardian to enroll.
Webster 101
This course will help the college-bound student prepare to make the most of their
career at Webster University. Using various assessments and exercises, each student
will develop a deeper understanding of themself and use that understanding to learn
adaptation strategies, such as goal setting, values clarification, time management,
money management and stress management skills that will work for each student in and
outside of the classroom.
WRIT 1000
This course provides extra support and practice with fundamental college-level writing
skills: assignment comprehension, critical reading, invention, thesis development,
organization, style, usage and mechanics.
