Webster Ghana's Public Lectures are the campus’s signature forum-style event, it is open to the public and at no cost. Having hosted 20 Public Lectures till date, Webster University Ghana continues to grow its thought leadership positioning by bringing together great minds around subject matters of interest and the community for relevant discourse and capacity-building. These panel events are a means by which the university gives back by sharing academic topics in a less academic manner, and are typically held on campus or in a nearby hotel. In the past 2 years, our Public Lectures have transitioned online. They have consistently pulled upwards of 130 guests.

Violence against women and girls is a human rights violation. However, one in three women worldwide experience physical or sexual violence mostly by an intimate partner or close relative (unwomen.org).
In partnership with African Renaissance Diaspora Network (ARDN) Red Card Campaign (#Redcardpledge) and in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, Webster University (#WebsterGhanaPledgesRED) is engaging in conversations to raise awareness and address the violence against women and girls in COVID-19 response efforts.
